Position Summary
Supports Army Operational Contract Support (OCS) Lessons Learned activities by systematically collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing observations, insights, and lessons (OILs) from training events, exercises, operational environments, and assessments. Leverages structured methodologies and tools, including the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS), to identify trends, capability gaps, and best practices impacting OCS execution across the Total Force.
Transforms qualitative and quantitative data into actionable, data-driven recommendations that inform Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF) capability development. Provides analytical products, briefings, and written reports to support decision-making by CASCOM and TRADOC leadership, contributing directly to Army modernization, readiness, and continuous improvement of OCS capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze OCS observations from exercises, operations, and assessments
- Conduct interviews and document findings in JLLIS
- Develop and analyze surveys to identify trends and gaps
- Produce memoranda, reports, and briefings for Government leadership
- Support assessment teams and recommend DOTMLPF solutions
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics or similar
- 4+ years military operations analysis experience
- 3+ years JLLIS experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Pro
Target Candidate Profile
- Former Army Logistics, Sustainment, or Operations personnel
- Experience with CALL or TRADOC organizations
- Background in lessons learned or knowledge management
Work Location
- Hybrid role, remote is authorized
Salary
- $90,000 to $120,000
