Department: Office of Facilities and Asset Management OFAM / Organizational Resources and Support ORS Division


Reports To: SD Solutions Contract Manager


Job Summary:

The Project Manager/Lead plays a pivotal role in providing executive support and leading various strategic initiatives within the Office of Facilities and Asset Management OFAM, Organizational Resources and Support ORS Division. This position involves managing a team, overseeing critical work-streams, and ensuring the successful implementation of strategic objectives that includes workforce management, recruiting strategy, and organizational Change and strategy, and DEI projects oversight.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the completion of ORS strategic objectives by leading efforts in this regard.
  • Manage special projects for the ORS Director and Branch Chiefs as required.
  • Advise on matters of organizational change management and organizational development.
  • Lead OFAM inventive recruitment hiring efforts, including managing real-time tracking systems, developing automated solutions to streamline processes, and managing content for reporting at the OFAM Recruitment Community of Practice.
  • Highlight ORS accomplishments in talking points and briefings.
  • Develop and implement an automated system for collecting and reporting performance metrics related to the ORS and OFAM mission. Maintain Tables of Organization and update Organizational Charts displayed on SharePoint.
  • Support managing OFAM Diversity Program, including diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility DEIA briefings.
  • Assist in managing support for OFAM Succession Management Initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and management of the OFAM professional development and training program, including the program/project management certification process.
  • Support training and development activities for existing OFAM personnel.
  • Develop and manage various communications for OFAM personnel.
  • Develop strategic initiative plans and priorities.
  • Lead and manage the ORS Front Office Contract Team.
  • Take charge of critical work-streams within ORS and OFAM Front Office, including data analysis and reporting at the Assistant Commissioner level.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for OFAM and ORS.
  • Provide executive support for the ORS Director, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, preparing briefs, and read-ahead documents.
  • Facilitate ORS Leadership/Branch/Section meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five 5 years of experience is desired performing the full range of activities related consulting on program management, program support, change management, and Governance within Federal or State agencies.
  • Master of Business Administration MBA
  • Certification in Gallup Clifton Strengths Coach
  • Certification in Change Management
  • Proven record of providing superior customer service to individuals and organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to add value to customer interactions.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective decision-making techniques.
  • Superior presentation skills.
  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a practical approach to using time and resources.
  • Superior business acumen.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, consulting, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong project planning skills and ability to design, implement, and facilitate successful leadership initiatives and programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work under pressure.
