Requirements:

SD Solutions, LLC is looking for an IT support Intern who can provide one-on-one IT troubleshooting to support our mission. Candidates should be technologically savvy, with knowledge of the Windows operating system, GoDaddy, WordPress, and Microsoft Office 365 applications. Ideal candidates can understand internal customer needs and conduct their own troubleshooting and research to resolve technical problems. Ideal candidates are knowledgeable of computer networking fundamentals and can resolve issues related to protocols such as DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS. Finally, ideal candidates are knowledgeable of cybersecurity threats and practice good cybersecurity hygiene.

Available 10 hours a week M-F (Tuesdays and Thursdays are required)

Must be able to travel to the principal office in Luray, VA

Candidate should be in 3rd or 4th year of degree program
Experience researching and troubleshooting IT issues
Knowledge of cybersecurity threats and best practices
Knowledge of computer networking to troubleshoot issues related to email, DNS, SSL, HTTP, and HTTPS
Experience troubleshooting issues with the Windows operating system
Experience using GoDaddy products and services
Experience using WordPress, CompTIA for Office, PC's, and networks
Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications and services, particularly Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint
Good command of English for the purpose of internal communication as well as writing content for the website

Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues
Maintain and resolve issues with websites owned by SD Solutions
Add content to websites owned by SD Solutions
Conduct IT-related research
Work on projects when there are no IT help requests to be resolved

Bonus:

Knowledge of a programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a bonus
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is a bonus
