SD Solutions is seeking a dynamic and organized Briefing Coordinator to support the agency's mission to drive transformative health innovations. The Briefing Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating high-level briefings and presentations, ensuring effective communication of ARPA-H initiatives, research projects, and strategic priorities to key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and academic partners at ARPA-H. Responsibilities Include
- Coordinate logistics and planning for internal and external briefings, meetings, and presentations related to ARPA-H initiatives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop briefing materials, agendas, and presentations that effectively convey critical information.
- Ensure timely distribution of briefing materials to participants prior to scheduled events.
- Draft, edit, and finalize briefing documents, reports, talking points, and other communications to align with ARPA-H's strategic objectives.
- Synthesize complex scientific and policy information into clear, concise, and engaging formats suitable for diverse audiences.
- Work closely with leadership and project teams to gather relevant data and insights for inclusion in briefing materials.
- Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders regarding briefing requests, inquiries, and logistical arrangements.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaborations and enhance communication efforts.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders post-briefing to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate briefing processes and practices to identify opportunities for enhancement and efficiency.
- Stay informed about ARPA-H initiatives and trends in health research to effectively communicate key messages and updates.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to briefing coordination and communication strategies.
Requirements Overview
- Bachelor's degree in any field. Communications, Public Relations, Health Policy, or a related field is preferable.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in briefing coordination, communications, or stakeholder engagement within the health sector or government agency.
- Prefer at least 1 year experience supporting DARPA or related Federal "ARPA" agencies IARPA, ARPA-E, ARPA-H, HSARPA.
- Alternate preferable experience at NIH, CDC, FDA, Public Health Service, NSF, USDA, State Health Department, or Local Health Department.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for distilling complex information into digestible content tailored to different audiences.
