Why Agile?

As Commercial and Government organizations are looking for ways to be nimble to deliver their products or services in a fast-changing environment, it is imperative that their people, processes and tools work effectively and efficiently, and in tandem, to achieve the desired results. The traditional process improvement approaches focus on one area or discipline of an organization and often overlook the importance of self-organization, collaboration, innovation and synchronization. Our Approach for Agile Transformation

American Automobile legend Henry Ford designed a very successful “Model T” car for all people, which was named Car of the Century. Using this inspiration, SD Solutions, LLC designed “Transformation Framework” or “T-Framework”, which can be tailored to fit every organization’s vision, mission, goals and objectives.

The T-Framework uses four (4) distinct Features – Discovery, Tailored Approach, Transformation and Scale. The Discovery feature involves needs assessment and helps the leadership teams understand gaps and impediments. The Tailored Approach customizes the Transformation Plan to fit the organization-specific needs and resolves the impediments. The Transformation step involves Coaching, Training, Pilot, Refinement and Adoption. Scaling results in Maturity and establishing Centers of Excellence.

Practice Lead

Walter “WJ” Teel is the Director of Agile Practice and the Chief Agile Coach. He is a SAFe Agilist and a Certified Scrum Master. He has over 25 years of leadership experience in Banking, Financial Services and Government organizations and led Business and Technology Teams. WJ helped several organizations including US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Capital One, Wells Fargo, Fannie Mae, JP Morgan Chase, Bank of Oklahoma with Agile Transformation, Process Improvements and directed Programs and Projects under Enterprise level Program Management Office (EPMO).
